New Front Grill Empty New Front Grill

Ordered a new front grill that nukes the "H" - made a deal with my brother-in-law who has the same sante fe - he's buying my existing one cause his got buggered and cracked (kinda hit something).....I will post pictures once I get it.

Off of Ebay - KoreaAuto.  Paid $160 + shipping......quality is not too bad, but inside the grill (open slats) I will have to sand and touch up.  I have to send it off to get chromed....funny that was not an option; we'll see how it fits.

the guys i was to send it to said they were having issues with their machine....trying to find another option...also just back from New Orleans (Dave Matthews and Tim R concert) so now the hunt is on again....

My wife's heading to New Orleans on Friday. She's apart of the American Military Spouses Choir and is going there to sing and will be back on Sunday.

My wife loved New Orleans. She bought some some CD's from some street performers and she loved the vibe that was there. She said she would love to live in the french quarter area if she could lol.

lol...I bought a CD from some guys playin on the street...said they had to "raise money to spring their pal from jail"....

UPDATE - I can't find a good place to chrome this grill....so I went ahead with the plasti-dip....4 coats.

started pulling apart old grill....got as far as pulling out the top 4 bolts and the plastic tabs....but that top plastic piece won't come off....looks like a couple screws attached to the chrome grill itself....need a super long phillips screwdriver....off to Lowes.
